Physiotherapy is a specialised allied health service that focuses on diagnosing, and treating a wide range of physical issues affecting mobility and function.
Through evidence-based techniques such as manual therapy, joint mobilisation and education, physiotherapists work to restore movement, reduce pain, and improve quality of life for people of all ages.
At Kinetix, our physiotherapists are trained to assess each patient’s unique condition and create tailored treatment plans to promote recovery, reduce pain, and enhance performance in daily life and physical / sporting activities.
Who Benefits from Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy services benefit a wide range of individuals, including those with:
Musculoskeletal Injuries
Physiotherapy helps restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve strength through targeted hands-on techniques, promoting faster recovery and preventing future injury. Here are some of the common injuries we see in the clinic.
Shoulder Injuries (e.g., Rotator Cuff Tears and Bursitis)
Physiotherapy focuses on relieving pain, restoring mobility, and strengthening the muscles around the shoulder joint to improve function and prevent future injury.
Neck & Back Pain
Whether due to poor posture, injury, or chronic conditions, physiotherapy addresses the underlying causes of neck and back pain through hands-on treatment to promote long-term relief.
Tennis Injuries
Through manual techniques and specific therapies, physiotherapy helps reduce pain and inflammation in the tendons, restoring function and strength to the arm.
Headache and Migraine Treatment
Physiotherapy can help manage headaches and migraines, particularly those related to muscle tension, neck dysfunction, or poor posture. Techniques like manual therapy and postural correction help reduce the frequency and intensity of headaches.
Post-Operative Rehabilitation
Following surgery, physiotherapy is essential in restoring mobility and function. Whether it’s after joint replacement, ligament reconstruction, or spinal surgery, our physiotherapists create individualized treatment plans to facilitate recovery, reduce pain, and improve overall outcomes.
Sports-Related Injuries
From sprains and strains to more complex injuries like ACL tears or dislocations, physiotherapy is crucial for athletes of all levels.
Treatment focuses on reducing pain, restoring mobility, and preventing future injuries. Our physiotherapists also work on sport-specific rehabilitation to help you return to activity as safely and quickly as possible.
